Big Daddy Jay’s Blue Balls

2 large blueberry muffins

2.5 pounds Blue and Gold sausage

2 cans blueberries, 15 ounce

1 cup sugar

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 tablespoon cornstarch

2 tablespoons water

Cut large blueberry muffins down to thirds and roll them into balls. Wrap them in breakfast sausage. Smoke for 3 hours at 250 degrees. In a saucepan over high heat add the canned blueberries, sugar, lemon juice and vanilla extract. Bring to a boil. Mix cornstarch and water and add slurry to the sauce. Reduce temp and let simmer for 1 hour. After 3 hours, toss balls in glaze and return to smoker for additional 30 minutes. Coat with sauce and blueberries. Enjoy!
