Big Baddy Jay's Tequila Fajitas
Hi there folks! Today I am gonna show you a fun twist on some fajitas. A fresh cilantro and jalapeno base with a shot of tequila! This is definitely a recipe that'll impress.
Ingredients
1/4 cup oil
Juice from 1 orange
Juice from 1 lime
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/2-1 bunch of cilantro
2 tablespoons minced garlic
4 jalepenos deseeded and deveined
1/2 white onion
1 shot tequila
Salt to taste
Combine all ingredients in blender until smooth. This marinade makes enough for six pounds of meat, but it doesn’t last well in the refrigerator, so I will normally split the recipe in half and freeze it if I don’t plan on cooking all six pounds at a time. Marinate your meat for two to twenty-four hours. Grill over high heat. Slice against the grain. Serve with sautéed onions and bell peppers and tortillas and Enjoy!
